Tammy Glivinski, President

Tammy Saben founded Glivinski & Associates, located in South Yarmouth in 1999. The firm of 12 serves over 150 small and mid-sized organizations with bookkeeping and financial/business management. A graduate of Suffolk University with over 40 years of experience, Tammy has proven success in assisting stateups, established companies and non-profit organizations in creating financial infrastructure and objectives for sustainablity and growth.

Tammy’s corporate experience includes corporate controllerships, Regional Management with Oxford Global Resources, and Branch Management with Robert Half, Inc. She was recently appointed as Chair of the Board of Trustees of Cape Cod Community college by Governor Baker and currently donates her time as Treasurer for the Friends of Children’s Cove. She was the 2015-2016 President of The Rotary Club of Yarmouth and serves on the board of the Cape & Islands United Way and the Cape Cod Community College Foundation. She is recognized in Cambridge “Who’s Who” and is the 2015 recipient of the Rotary District 1950 “District Governor’s Award” for organizing a Cape wide Rotary project that raised over $100,000 to support the Cape Cod Healthcare Blood mobile purchase. Tammy was also the recipient of the 2015 Hyannis Area Chamber of Commerce prestigious “Patrick D Butler Citizen of the Year, and the 2017 Center for Women’s, “Beacon of Hope” for her volunteer efforts in many organizations of Cape Cod. She received the Yarmouth Rotary President’s Citation for community service in 2017 and was honored as a Suffolk University “10 under 10” in 2018.

A third generation Cape Codder, Tammy is married to her long-time friend and sailing partner, Jim Saben, they have 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren. When not on the job or serving the community, they enjoy Sailing, skiing, most anything out of doors, and hanging with the Grandkids.

Emily Davis, Senior Accountant

Emily began her career with Glivinski & Associates in January 2011 with her Masters in Accountancy from Northeastern University, Boston, MA. Emily manages several of our non-profit clients including annual audit preparation, board of directors reporting and cash flow projections. She has been appointed as the Senior Auditor on several forensic audits referred to Glivinski & Associates, including two federally funded agencies. Prior to joining our team, Emily was an associate on the audit team of McGladrey & Pullen, LLP, a national CPA firm, where her focus was on commercial real estate, low income housing and employee benefit audits.

Valerie Silva, Staff Accountant

Valerie received her undergrad degree in Accounting from Johnson & Wales and continued on to complete her Masters in Accountancy from University of Phoenix. With over 11 years in the field, including 8 years as staff accountant with the Davenport Companies, she brings complex accounting experience through financial statement preparation in development, property management and manufacturing industries.

Carol Shaw, Staff Accountant

Carol has worked with our team for over 10 years. She manages several of our more complex non-profit clients including Boston Educational Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and Mothers for Justice. Prior to joining Glivinski & Associates, she spent over 10 years in Retail accounting. Her knowledge of budgets, margins, cost accounting and retail accounting is extensive.

Lynne Clancy, Senior Bookkeeper

Lynne's 17 years as Operations Manager in the investment world along with her 10+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience benefit Glivinski & Associates and clients with compliance and organizational issues including sales tax and corporate/LLC annual reporting. Lynne earned her BA from Boston University and joined our team in 2010.

Ashlie StoddardBookkeeper

Ashlie joined Glivinski & Associates with 8 years of Administrative and 4 years of Hospitality Management experience. She attended Cape Cod Community College and has volunteered with many non-profit agencies on the Cape for many years.  Ashlie shares in our enjoyment and commitment of “giving back” to our community.

Tinneil Federer, Bookkeeper

Tinneil joined Glivinski & Associates in 2018 and holds the position of Bookkeeper. She has extensive experience in office management, medical terminology, medical billing, and office administration. Personally, Tinneil assists her husband as a small business owner and has two children. She is also on the Board of Christian Education at her church. 

Karen Gonsalves, Bookkeeper

Karen joined Glivinski & Associates in 2018. Before joining G&A, Karen taught for 25 years and ran her own home daycare for 7 years. Karen took classes at Cape Cod Community College and Southeastern University in early childhood development. Karen took computer classes, QuickBooks courses and Excel courses at Cape Cod Community College, as well. Karen has also volunteered at Church Thrift Shop, Relay for Life and at Breast Cancer Walks. 

Nadia Vutova, Bookkeeper

Nadia joined Glivinski & Associates in January 2019. Before teaming with G&A, Nadia worked as a Bookeeper and Professional Tax Preparer for six years. Nadia received her Bachelors degree in Accounting from UMass Dartmouth in 2013.

John (Jack) Cowell
